Complaints and Grievances

If Library users have any complaints and grievances against Govt. Recognised NGO Libraries situated in their localities on the functioning of the library, they may lodge a complaint to the responsible members of the concerned NGO or the Library Sub-Committee (if any). However, if the issue is not resolved or if the complainant is not satisfied with the resolution by the concerned NGO, fresh complaint may be submitted to the Office of State Librarian via email – mizoramstatelibrary@gmail.com

If the Library fails to observe any of the points mentioned below, complaint may be lodged-

  1. Library is not open as per time-schedule
  2. Borrowing and return of books not possible
  3. Books not properly shelved or arranged in order
  4. Any subject related to service delivery
