Internet Center :
Internet Center can be availed by library users for their educational and academic purposes only or as aid to study. As an Institutional member of DELNET (Developing Library Network), the e-resources and services provided by DELNET is accessible for Users.
Rules and Regulations for using Internet Center :-
1. Users can access the Internet Center free of charge for the first 30 minutes. Beyond that period, browsing rates will be as follows :-
For Members : Rs. 20/- per half hour; Rs. 30/- per hour
For Non-Member : Rs 30/- per half hour; Rs 40/- per hour
2. Browsing period is limited to a maximum of 2 hours
3. Users are required to fill the User Register specifying his/her needs, sites to be visited and areas of research/study etc.
4. The service shall be made available at the seat allotted to each individuals on a first come first serve basis.
5. Downloading of files/documents if not for educational purpose is strictly prohibited.
6. Accessing of Social Networking sites is allowed only for a maximum of 15 minutes.
7. Browsing of sites that is obscene in nature is strictly prohibited.
8. Internet Center should be used for academic and educational purposes only.
9. Deleting of browsing history is strictly prohibited and the Center reserves the right to check the browsing history of every user
10. Users can take print-out the downloaded e-resource materials @ Rs. 5/- per page
11. Insertion of any USB storage device should be scanned for virus.
12. Anyone responsible for the loss and damage of the computer or any other equipment in the Internet Center will bear the cost of the damage.
13. Anyone caught violating the Rules and Regulations will be prohibited from further use of the Internet Center.
